QuadraFlex helps to reduce pressure readings against the body’s bony prominences and the 4-way flex action allows patients to sink into inner foams. QuadraFlex will remain soft and supple for the life of the fabric, and will not stain or leak, and will not add interface pressure. The fabric is flame retardant, and bacterial and fungal resistant. QuadraFlex can be easily cleaned with mild soap and water, or a 1:10 dilution of bleach and water. Mattresses with QuadraFlex can be used immediately after cleaning whereas traditional nylon mattress covers remain wet after cleaning.
